Palisade Gardens Retirement Home has remained COVID free during the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Josef Ger, chief executive officer of Retirement Life Communities, which operates Palisade Gardens, tells us more about their response to the outbreak.
Ger says part of what has allowed residents and staff to stay healthy is that the home put restrictions in place two weeks ahead of government mandates.
He says they’ve also been focusing on the mental health of residents as they continue to be isolated from family and friends.
